We use our own Alegra Skin Care Mineral Makeup, and other professional makeup products for our makeup applications and lessons. The Alegra Skin Care Mineral Makeup is all natural and contains only titanium dioxide, iron oxides, mica and zinc oxide, and is not comedogenic. It does not contain bismuth oxychloride, talc, D & C dye or petrol-chemicals (methylparaben and propylparaben). It is based on inert, naturally occurring minerals that are pulverized and blended to create a variety of products.
Mineral makeup is excellent for all skin types. It is the most natural form of foundation available on the market today, primarily because it is loose and is preservative free. Traditional makeup foundations require esters (oils and waxes) to be added as preservatives. These ingredients an be irritating and cloggng to the skin.
Fortunately, the natural loose mineral powder will remain unspoiled for years without preservatives of any kind. Mineral makeup provides weightless coverage, helps calm inflammation, has a high SPF factor and is water-resistant.
Alegra Skin Care Mineral Makeup primer, "Serecite," is a natural pigment which is especially wonderful for setting your foundation. It is a natural, untreated, inert, stable, inorganic mineral which reflects the light, reducing the appearance of pores and wrinkles. Serecite is fantastic for oily or T-zone oily skin types. It is also makes a long-lasting makeup application.
These minerals may be used for foundation, blush, eye shadows, liquid eyeliner (when water is added), lip color and nail color.
